Blitzkrieg’10

Blitzkrieg’10 is a K.C College Festival which is exclusively managed by the BMM students. Blitzkrieg’10 was scheduled on 22^nd and 23^rd January. The range of events that Blitzkrieg’10 covered included areas such as Advertising, Journalism, Public Relations and Entertainment. The theme of Blitzkrieg’10 is Reality Shows whereby the event as a whole is considered to be a reality show and the colleges that have participated are said to be contestants of this reality show. Blitzkrieg’10 witnessed a heavy participation by more than 30 colleges.

                The events were segregated in such a way that a balance could be maintained between the mass media events and the entertainment events. The first day that is 22^nd January saw the inaugural function which had Rajeev Khandelwal as the chief guest. The same day was the film making event which was judged by Gulshan Grover and the RJ Hunt judged by RJ Harsh of Fever 104 Fm. The grand event of the day was the “promote your brand” event and so also the full of hurdles sports event Tough Enough. The same day was conducted the dance event with the theme emotions and character both in contradiction.

                 The second day of the event witnessed the crowd puller events that is the Band event and the Fashion Show. The theme of the Fashion Show was something very unique which was Computer Games. The other celebrities who came in were Rakesh Omprakash Mehra, Mayuresh Wadwarkar from Dance India Dance and Tarun Mansukhani among others. The Signature event of Blitzkrieg took place on 23^rd January which was “Human Chess” whereby there was a large chess board on which the students were made the chess pieces and the moves were decided by the strategizer. In this way Blitzkrieg’10 came to an end on 23^rd January in a unique style and sticked to their promise of growing even more big and wide with each year to come.
