1) Your Background
I started my career as a singer at a mere age of 4 years. I took training under Kalyanji and did the concert “Little Wonders”. I was pretty good in my academics and at the same time I tried my hand into acting and even sung for some Bollywood movies. I studied at Mithibai College and at the age of 19 took up to hosting Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007. After its success I was offered the next two seasons as well.
2) How did it begin for you? How did you land your first break in television?
I was at London at that time when I got a call from Zee Production House for the show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007. It was the time when Zee had lost Gajendra Singh & Shaan and then I was bought on board.
3) Tell us about your film Shaapit?
It is another thriller movie by Vikram Bhatt after 1920. My co-stars are Shweta Agarwal, Rahul Dev and Shubh. The music of the movie is done by Chirantan Bhatt. However the promotional song which is the title song of the movie “Shaapit hua” is written, sung and composed by me. I have glad I got a chance to do my debut with such an interesting project.
4) Tell us about your role in the film?
The name of my character in the movie is Aman. It is a story about this boy who is in love with Kaya played by Shweta Agarwal. Kaya is cursed as has been the history of her family and it’s about how Aman fights all odds to get Kaya. That is all I can say.
5) Tell us about your future projects?
I am doing another film with Vikram Bhatt after this. It is the project which is finalized at the moment. So, that’s it for now.
6) Do we see you on the small screen again?
Yes of course! I have been offered quite a lot of shows to host but couldn’t take them up due to date problems but you will surely see me hosting some show shortly.
7) How would you want to be known in future?
All I have to say is that I want to give my best in all endeavors and I am sure then I shall hold a future of my choice.
8) You have been seen excelling in different areas. How do you manage to do that?
Well I believe in utilizing every opportunity that comes my way. I feel that giving my 100% in all areas helps me excel in whatever things I take at hand. So with this approach it becomes absolutely easy to manage different tasks.
Nice one
