Sachi Maskara's Kalamkari Bag

                                              

Sachi Maskara is a TyBcom student of Sydenham College. She is a person highly obsessed with fashion and always up-do-date with the latest trend.

She designs fashion bags and sandals/shoes and puts up exhibitions of the same. She has put up around 5 exhibitions till date.

Kalamkari Bag

Moreover she saw a patch of cloth at Hyderabad which she converted into a bag. This form of bag comes from Andhra Pradesh. It is made exclusively from cloth and use of leather is avoided. The unique feature about this bag is that it is hand painted completely.

This sort of bag is in fashion lately as told by Sachi as most of her collection of this type has got sold easily till date. These bags look elegant with saris and kurtis that are mainly with traditional attire. She charges Rs 1500 for such bags.

Besides this other are the normal small jholas that she makes where she uses beads and motis to décor the jholas which are primararily made of bright colored shiny cloth. So also she designs different types of sandals to go with different attires. However the highlight continues to remain the Kalamkari Bag.
