FACE BOOK reunites me with my “ONCE MET BY CHANCE” friend

Face book is the place I am addicted to and you can find me 24/7. Face book with every passing day brings me more close to it most importantly because I reconnected with a friend of mine who through regular face book chats and comments became my super closest buddies. To cut the long story short I eat, sleep and drink face book.

To begin with my good nah best buddy Ipsita Bhattacharya. I remember it was the Christmas day 25th December, 2008 when I was traveling on a long distance train to Nashik. I remember the boring journey with no books to read or music to listen I noticed a tall, healthy and a Papa’s girl sitting next to me and the kind of talkative person that I was I struck a conversation right there with her. Our conversation which started on a formal note ended up making us realize are company was like house on fire but soon came the time when we had to go our ways and bid a final good bye to each other. We badly wished we could meet again. And Voila! That happened. Around 1 year later I saw a friend request peep on my face book page. With excitement that my number of friends would increase on FB I opened my profile page and this time I was stunned to see that the FB friend request was from my “Train Buddy”.

Since then FB is the ultimate hub for us. She is a HSC appeared student from Podar School (Santa Cruz) and I am pursuing my business management from Sydenham College (Churchgate) so can say we study in two extreme places and so also are so busy with our lives that meeting up or being in touch would have otherwise been difficult but is now made easy thanks to FACE BOOK. Today we claim to be the closest of friends who share almost all news via FB. Our latest pics, our daily ongoings are communicated by us to each other via face book. We feel extremely lucky and are grateful to face book without which we getting in touch again was next to impossible and we would have surely regretted having lost a friend like a gem.
